Climate Stripes
Climate scientist Professor Ed Hawkins (National Centre for Atmospheric Science, University of Reading) wanted to start conversations about climate change.
His Climate Stripes are a simple pattern of coloured stripes generated from scientific data to show the increase in temperatures since 1850, one stripe per year, with dark blues used for colder years, and dark reds for warmer years.
We've created a range of products based on the Stripes image, which has become a global phenomenon.
